Tamru Taye scored in the 18th minute, then Corey Campbell added a goal during the 21st minute. Felicien Muyumba had the assist. Sam Embry recorded five saves in goal for the Quakers, who outshot Cincinnati Christian 14-13. The Quakers play Millikin at 3:30 p.m. today. Women's soccerComstock leads EC to victoryRyder Comstock scored a pair of second-half goals Friday, leading Earlham College to a 2-1 victory over Capital in the El Rodeo Classic. Comstock opened the scoring in the 49th minute off an assist from Elizabeth Richards. Capital tied the match in the 60th minute, but Comstock tallied the game-winner just 30 seconds later. A.J. Johnson made three saves for the Quakers, who were outshot 11-7. Earlham plays Millikin at 1 p.m. today. VolleyballEarlham gets comeback winEarlham College rallied from two sets down Friday to win its season-opening volleyball match 3-2 over Wilmington at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational. The Quakers won 22-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-14, 15-12. Earlham plays Denison and Grove City today.
