Both players had legal issues during the summer. Michigan head coach Brady Hoke made the decision on Friday, stating both players would not make the trip to Dallas for Saturday's contest against the second-ranked Crimson Tide. "The decision was not easy, but I feel it is in the best interest of this program and for these kids, and those always will be my priorities," said Hoke in a statement. "We have choices every day, and you have to be accountable to this program, your teammates, your family and the University of Michigan." http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cfoot/news/news.aspx?id=4525479
