Final Score: Pittsburgh 26, Indianapolis 24
Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Andrew Luck threw two interceptions in his second preseason game and Danny Hrapmann kicked a go-ahead 22-yard field goal with 20 seconds left as the Pittsburgh Steelers downed the Indianapolis Colts, 26-24, on Sunday.
Ben Roethlisberger was 5-of-9 for 81 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Pittsburgh, which got 43 yards rushing on eight carries from Jonathan Dwyer. Antonio Brown had a 57-yard score and hauled in two passes for 75 yards.
The Steelers remain without Mike Wallace as the fleet-footed wide receiver continues a camp holdout over dissatisfaction with his contract.
Luck completed 16-of-25 passes for 175 yards and added a touchdown run, while Reggie Wayne caught six balls for 74 yards. Donald Brown carried the ball six times for 30 yards and a score for Indianapolis.
Austin Collie left the contest in the first quarter after taking a hit to the head. Collie, who's had a history of concussion issues, was injured while attempting to haul in a Luck pass over the middle. As he went down, he took a hit to the helmet from Larry Foote.
The Colts also lost defensive ends Robert Mathis (shoulder strain) and Cory Redding (leg) during the game.
Pittsburgh jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the opening quarter, but the Colts tallied 17 unanswered points to take a 17-14 edge into the break.
Antonio Brown took a wide receiver screen pass and eluded several would-be tacklers before flipping into the end zone for a 57-yard score. A bit later in the frame, Ike Taylor intercepted Luck's pass on a 3rd-and-10 and returned it 49 yards for a touchdown to give the Steelers a 14-0 lead.
Donald Brown punched it in from a yard out early in the second stanza and Luck added a one-yard TD run later in the frame. Both drives went 10 plays and 80 yards. Adam Vinatieri split the uprights right before the half from 53 yards away to make it 17-14.
