5 Colts to watch tonight

» RB Donald Brown: It won't be about how well he runs against the Steelers. Few backs experience much success. Tonight will be about how quickly Brown recognizes where the blitz is coming from and how effectively he deals with it. Same with rookie Vick Ballard when he takes over for Brown. Keeping the Steelers away from QB Andrew Luck is paramount.

» ILB Jerrell Freeman: It appears the CFL veteran will get the first opportunity to fill the void until Pat Angerer recovers from a fractured foot. Freeman has been aggressive and shown good mobility in camp, but everything is amplified in a game, preseason or not. Freeman and his possible backups -- Moise Fokou, Greg Lloyd and Mario Harvey -- need to impress the coaching staff.

» LCB Justin King: Coordinator Greg Manusky needs King or Cassius Vaughn to emerge as the no-doubt sidekick to RCB Jerraud Powers. Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger won't hesitate to put the football in the air, so there should be ample opportunity to make plays. Or be victimized.
