Home » Girls' Golf NewsDevils down PatsAugust 17, 2012 Eastern Indiana SportsForest Hills can be a challenging golf course on the best of days. Add in some rain and cloudy skies, and that difficulty tends to increase. Not so for Erin Ingram, at least not on this Thursday. The Richmond senior paved the way for a Red Devil victory by carding a 1-under par 37. RHS tallied 195 to 202 for Union County as the Red Devils won a head-to-head battle between two of the area’s top girls golf teams. It was the first dual match defeat for the Patriots, who are in the midst of a strong season that’s featured invitational victories at Richmond, Liberty and New Castle. “It was fun. It’s always nice having a round where you make that many birdies and an eagle,” Ingram said, referring to an eagle on the par-5 fourth hole. “It’s frustrating when you go to the last hole and double it like I did, but it was fun.” http://www.pal-item.com/article/20120816/HSSPORTS/308160019/Devils-down-Pats
