Emily Oberschlake, Jessica Lewis, Lacey Zimmers and Larissa Stephen all graduated from the court. Another loss — reigning Palladium-Item Volleyball Coach of the Year Rachel Sweeney is gone as well. While other teams in the area look to take advantage, first-year head coach Chris Wiederhold is confident that the Patriots have gained enough talent to remain a strong competitor. The Patriots highlight strong teams set to battle for conference titles and advance past their sectionals. Union CountyWiederhold is making his head-coaching debut at the high school level, but has been around the sport long enough to know good volleyball when he sees it.
