But, the Golden Eagles do return key players for the 2012 campaign, and they look to continue the momentum started with an 8-3 finish in 2011. “We have a lot of new kids after we graduated 15 seniors,” said coach Phil Renforth, back for his 11th season. “There is a learning curve and a lot of stuff has to be taught, but they are picking it up pretty quickly.” Returnees at the skill positions will help. Grant Renforth is back under center, one season after he threw for 2,221 yards and 28 touchdowns, and ran for another 434 and eight scores. The Golden Eagles also return a 1,000-yard rusher in Tyler Brown, who finished last season with 1,129 yards and 10 touchdowns. Joe Lookabaugh made 19 receptions for 339 yards and seven touchdowns and returns as a receiver. http://www.pal-item.com/article/20120810/HSSPORTS01/308100024/Golden-Eagles-aim-high
