Brewers complete sweep of Reds

MILWAUKEE — The Reds have lost four straight, equaling a season-high.

New reliever Jonathan Broxton blew the lead in the eighth, but the Reds have to be concerned about the offense. They’ve scored a total of eight runs during the skid.

Mat Latos went seven innings and allowed one run on three hits. He walked one and struck out eight. He threw 97 pitches, 67 for strikes.

Latos has allowed a total of three runs over his last three starts and 22 1/3 innings. His ERA over his last nine starts is 2.03.

Latos left with a 2-1 lead, but Broxton gave it up in the eighth.
