Home » Football NewsBengals' Gresham motivated after Pro Bowl seasonAugust 3, 2012 Eastern Indiana SportsBy Jay Morrison Staff Writer CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham is not a big fan of talking to the media, but he did Thursday. And the overriding theme that came out of the 10-minute interview was that he also isn’t a big fan of anything he’s accomplished in his first two years in the NFL. “I’m very, very average, below average right now,” said Gresham, who is coming off a Pro Bowl season in which he caught 56 passes for 596 yards and six touchdowns. “I’m not hard on myself, I just put things in perspective,” he continued. “I’m a realist.” The 6-foot-5, 260-pound Gresham was selected in the first round of the 2010 draft with the 21st pick, ahead of New England’s Rob Gronkowski and New England’s Jimmy Graham, fellow Pro Bowlers who each had more than 1,300 yards receiving and double-digit TDs in 2011.
