ANDERSON, Ind. – The Indianapolis Colts strengthened their linebacker corps in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.

They sent cornerback Kevin Thomas and a conditional 2013 seventh-round draft pick to the Eagles for linebackers Moise Fokou and Greg Lloyd.

Fokou was a 2009 seventh-round pick who appeared in 44 games and started 22 in Philadelphia. He missed the final five games last season with a high ankle sprain.
Lloyd, a 2011 seventh-rounder, spent the first 11 weeks of his rookie season on the Eagles’ practice squad before being added to the active roster. He did not appear in a regular-season game.

The decision to trade Thomas brought an end to a brief, unproductive stint with the Colts. The 2010 third-round draft pick missed his rookie season with a knee injury. Thomas appeared in nine games last season and started five. But after starting five consecutive games, he was inactive the next game.
