IU football: Wilson wants to make his quarterbacks uncomfortable in preseason practices

Indiana football coach Kevin Wilson has a focus in mind for his quarterbacks heading into the start of preseason camp today: Create uncomfortable situations.
For sophomore Tre Roberson, that could mean sitting in the pocket a little bit longer before taking off and running. For junior college transfer Cameron Coffman, it could mean doing a little extra with his feet rather than spending too much time in the pocket.
"We need (Roberson) to sit in the pocket and process cover-3, cover-2 and where does the ball need to go?'' Wilson said. "We just need to spend a little more time with that. Sometimes he's going to be in the pocket and it's going to break down and he's going to have to run. So I'm not saying don't run. I'm just trying to help him with making the right decisions.''
A year ago, Roberson attempted 142 passes and ran the ball 109 times. Wilson would like to see a higher ratio of passes but wants it to be a result of Roberson making the proper reads in the offense.
