'Rats back in first place with 5-3 win

LORAIN, OHIO — Three first-inning runs from Richmond held up Wednesday, putting the RiverRats back in first place in the East Division after a 5-3 win over Lorain County.

Chillicothe went into Wednesday half a game ahead of the ’Rats but fell 13-7 to Butler. The ’Rats are tied with first-half champion West Virginia at 14-8 in the second half.
