Bengals Training Camp Rosterology 2012: Quarterbacks

With less than two weeks until the first training camp practice, it is time to begin the position-by-position analysis of the roster. We begin with the quarterbacks.

Position Breakdown

Kept last year: 2; Currently on roster: 4

Number usually kept: Three from 2003-10 but last year the Bengals became one of many teams to go with two on the active roster and have their third QB on the practice squad. That does come with risks sometimes because teams can sign practice squad players.

On the Roster

No. 14 Andy Dalton (6-2, 220, 2nd year): Last year he became the first rookie quarterback in NFL history to throw for 20 touchdowns and win nine games. Now, what can he do for an encore?
