Top Red Wolves bring national attention

Marcus Isaac realizes something is building with Indiana University East athletics.

It’s a tradition, he said, and one Isaac is more than happy to add to with his exploits on the basketball court.

Isaac and Lauren Crump are this year’s Athletes of the Year for IU East, and both helped give the school’s athletics recognition on a national scale.

Isaac was IU East’s first first-team NAIA All-American as he secured a spot on the NAIA Division II men’s basketball team. Crump repeated as the American Volleyball Coaches Association Northeast Region Player of the Year and was an honorable-mention Tachikara-NAIA All-American.
