Mendenhall stepping down from Lincoln baseball

Jeff Mendenhall certainly appreciated the support he received during his Lincoln coaching tenure — from both the community and the administration.

Rob Bills has appreciated Mendenhall, too, both for what he brought to Lincoln in the classroom and on the baseball diamond.

After two seasons, Mendenhall is leaving his post as head coach for Golden Eagles baseball. He has a new teaching position at Riverside Intermediate in the Hamilton Southeastern school district in Fishers.

“He is an extremely talented teacher,” said Bills, Lincoln’s athletic director.
