College Fantasy Football 2012: Players On The Verge

With many college fantasy drafts just about two months away and owners starting their draft prep, it seems like a great time to examine the players we think are on the doorstep to fantasy stardom in 2012. All of these players have attributes that have them appearing to be ready to be large fantasy contributors this fall, including talent, opportunity, offensive system, etc. There are many players who will emerge into top flight fantasy options this fall and nailing one or two of these guys can be the make or break of a fantasy season.


 
Jeff Tuel QB Washington State: 

This is all about the arrival of offensive genius, Mike Leach to Pullman. Leach will bring with him the potent “Air Raid” offense that he used to terrorize defensive coordinators while at Texas Tech. Tuel has shown some decent potential in his time at Wazzu, but has been hampered by injuries in the past. If he can stay healthy, he could really explode running this pass heavy offense. Add in the fact that he has arguably the #1 fantasy wide out in Marquess Wilson at his disposal and that he will likely be involved in numerous “shootout” games, and you have the makings of a top tier fantasy signal caller.
