Van Pelt tied for 20th at Travelers

Richmond native Bo Van Pelt is tied for 20th after playing 30 holes 6 under par Saturday at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn.

Van Pelt is at 6-under-par 204 and trails leaders Brian Davis and Roland Thatcher by six shots.

Van Pelt was 1 over after six holes Friday when his second round was suspended by rain. He made birdies at Nos. 11, 13, 15 and 18 to complete that round of 67 Saturday morning, then added a third-round 67 in the afternoon.
