NHL's 2012-13 schedule depends on labor deal

(AP) -- The NHL has released its schedule for the upcoming season -- if there's no work stoppage.

The league's collective bargaining agreement expires Sept. 15.

The NHL announced Thursday that Los Angeles will raise its Stanley Cup championship banner Oct. 12 when it hosts the New York Rangers. The Kings will travel to play New Jersey on Feb. 9, a Stanley Cup rematch in their only scheduled match-up.
