In yesterday's game, the Reds needed their final at-bat to defeat the Tigers 6-5. Wilson Valdez hit a single off Phil Coke to score Miguel Cairo and secure the win. Today's game is set to start at 4:10pm EDT and will be shown on FSN-DET and FSN-OH. Arroyo is 2-1 with a 4.66 ERA against the Tigers in his career and faces a tough pitching matchup against Verlander. Verlander is aiming for his 10th quality start of the season and takes the hill against the Reds for the first time in his career. The Reds look to continue their good fortune vs. Tigers pitchers this season, after batting .375 with one homer in one game against them.
