Dave Bolland scored late in the third period to give the Chicago Blackhawks a 3-1 win over the St. Louis Blues on Sunday.

The Detroit Red Wings already own the NHL's single-season record for consecutive home victories. On Sunday, they set another record with a 3-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks.

Niklas Backstrom made a career-high 48 saves for his fourth shutout of the season as Minnesota snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 2-0 win over Boston at Xcel Energy Center.

Martin Brodeur made 21 saves as the New Jersey Devils downed the Montreal Canadiens, 3-1, on Sunday.

Jonas Hiller made 31 saves to record his third shutout of the season and the 14th of his career as the Anaheim Ducks blanked the Florida Panthers, 2-0, at BankAtlantic Center.

Colin Wilson scored the eventual game-winning goal late in the second period as the Nashville Predators edged the Dallas Stars, 3-2, at American Airlines Center.

Derek Stepan scored just 22 seconds into overtime, sending the New York Rangers to a 3-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets at Madison Square Garden. 

 

Final Score: Winnipeg 5, Colorado 1

Bryan Little scored twice and Ondrej Pavelec made 31 saves as the Winnipeg Jets rolled over the Colorado Avalanche, 5-1, at MTS Centre.

 

Final Score: Vancouver 5, Edmonton 2
