Another Saturday, another cross country meet. This time the Warriors headed to the Widewater Invitational held at the Widewater Christian Youth Camp. The course was muddy causing some caked on mud to collect on their shoes, but this didn't stop them from running their best. New season bests and personal bests were made by the whole team. The middle school boys' race had 105 runners in it. Brandon Wisnofske, running a personal best 14:24.60, placed 55th among them. The Girls Varsity race had 166 runners competing. Savannah Holley ran a new season best, beating her previous weeks time by 35 seconds, of 21:25.74. This gave her a 26th place finish. Laura McKay ran a new personal best of 24:21.48, beating her previous time by 22 seconds. She finished in 70th. The Boys Varsity race had 251 racers in it. Nathan Dick ran a season best time of 18:33.14, placing 62nd. Alex Newberg finished 76th with a season best time of 18:52.33. Following Alex, Isaac Holley knocked off even more time from his personal best bringing it down to 20:20.61, placing him 137th. Chris Dick was the next Warrior to finish. He ran a personal best time of 22:01.86 beating his previous time by 1 minute and 45 seconds! Following very closely behind Alex Vick ran a personal best also. His new time of 22:03.31 bested his old time by 1 minute and 42 seconds! Braden Plenzler rounded out the guys with a new personal best as well. His new PR being 23:31.82. Everyone did an outstanding job and I am proud of all of them.
