Warriors take MV Invitational

For the second time in 3 years the Emmanuel Christian Warrior Soccer Team came away with the Title for the Maumee Valley Invitational. The Warriors defeated the defending champs from Lake Ridge Academy on Friday by a score of 4-1.  Ryan Creech scored 2 goals on the day and Leland Snyder and Jason Regnier chipped in with a goal apiece.  In the finals on Saturday the Warriors took on the host school the Maumee Valley Country Day Hawks and came away with an impressive 2-0 victory behind goals from Leland Snyder and Ryan Creech.  The win not only gave the Warriors the title but avenged an earlier defeat at the hands of the Hawks. Ryan Creech, Leland Snyder, Jason Regnier, and Nate Creech were named to the All-Tournament Team. The Warriors are now 10-2 on the season and look to keep pace in a TAAC and NWOHSSL contest tonight against the Eagles of Toledo Christian.
