Nail Biter Turns Into a Loss in OT

Eastview lost in over time to Lakeville North after a hard fought battle for the win.  Lakeville scored twice in the first period, with an answer by Eastview's #8 Ryan McNamara assisting a goal to #6 Jake Heppner end the first period 1 to 2. The second period saw a goal from senior defenseman Jon Plaszcz.  MacNamara scored again, ending period 2 for a 3 to 2 score.  In the third period, Lakeville scored to tie the game, and then scored again in over time to win the game.

JV battled hard in their game, with a disappointing loss 3 to 6.  Eastview's JV team came from a 0 to 3 score in period one to tie the game in the second period. However, the third period saw Lakeville score 3 more goals to win the game.

Youth Day combined with Chili's serving some selected delicious treats at the concessions stand brought in the kids and the parents for a great hockey day at the arena.  Thanks to all for your support!
