VYPE Announces Launch of the 2011-2012 Oklahoma Basketball Preview

VYPE High School Sports Magazine has released its fourth annual statewide basketball preview that covers information on all high schools in the entire capacity of Oklahoma. The VYPE Oklahoma Basketball Preview will hit the stands in December 21st and is sold statewide at Wal-Marts, 7-11, Barnes and Nobles, and other magazine retailers.

Tulsa, OK Friday, December 15^th, 2011 – After producing the first installment of the VYPE Basketball Preview in 2008, VYPE is now introducing the fourth volume of the Oklahoma Statewide Basketball Preview. This 250-page, high-quality publication will be the largest and most extensive statewide basketball magazine to date.

The 2011-2012 VYPE Oklahoma Basketball Preview will feature every school in the state of Oklahoma who competes either in the OSSAA or independent conferences. It will highlight the state’s best players, news and updates, and will give capsules on every team in the state, boys and girls. The VYPE Top 100 will be revealed in the publication as well.

The cover feature includes six of VYPE’s Top 100. Stephen Clark (Douglass), Courtney Walker (Edmond Santa Fe), Matt Christiansen (McGuinness), Jodi Glover (Fort Gibson), J.C. Hartzler (Tulsa Union), and Allie Decker (Edmond Memorial).

The publication also includes an exclusive interview with Blake Griffin, former VYPE coverboy in 2006 and now featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Other features also include Forgan (2011 Class B champions) twins Ryan and Rhett Radcliff, Holland Hall twins (and future Oklahoma Sooners) Paris and Jules Townsend.
