Home » Football NewsEagles victorious on homecomingOctober 8, 2011 By Calvin Walters of Eastern Alamance High SchoolAaron Clay scored four touchdowns to help the Eagles to a 34-12 victory over the Morehead Panthers on homecoming night. The junior opened the scoring with a reception from Robbie Lanier. Clay also returned two punts for touchdowns before adding a rushing touchdown to put the Eagles up 34-0 early in the second quarter. The offense would stall from there, but the defense held Morehead scoreless until the fourth quarter. Defensive end Eric Deacon scored the Eagles only other touchdown on a fumble return for a score. Eastern Alamance will travel to McMichael next week.
