Home » Football NewsJV Eagles fall to CavaliersSeptember 3, 2010 By Calvin Walters of Eastern Alamance High SchoolThe JV Eastern Alamance Eagles, fell to the Cummings Cavaliers 19-8 Thursday night in Burlington. After scoring on their first possession, the Eagles offense never threatened again, being intercepted three times by the Cavaliers, including the final one returned for a touchdown with 40 seconds left to ice the game. Josh Long scored the only Eagle's touchdown, a one yard keeper in the first quarter. The Eagles led 8-6 at halftime. Eastern Alamance JV is off next week and will host Southern Alamance in two weeks.
