Clay took a swing route 50 yards on the first play from scrimmage and the route was on. Clay, selected to the Shrine Bowl team, would add three more receiving touchdowns in the half as the Eagles built up a 35-0 lead by halftime. Malcom Summers scored the Eagles other touchdown with a run into the endzone with just under a minute to play. The Eagles would strike again after halftime with a Malik Wilson touchdown reception to go up 42-0.
