Lacrosse Update

The Eastern Alamance Lacrosse team is off to a 3-2 start this year including 2-1 in conference play.  The Eagles opened the year with a 14-0 victory over Eastern Guilford, dropped a game to Cedar Ridge 9-4 before pounding rival Southern Alamance 12-2.

This week the Eagles defeated Oxford Webb 8-7 before falling to Southeast Guilford 11-3.

Joey Stump is leading the way for the Eagles with 17 goals.  The junior has scored at least 3 goals in all but one game this season.  Stump also leads the team with 26 ground balls.

Ian Brady leads the Eagles in assists with 10.

Brady and Jonah Turcotte both have seven goals on the year.  Dylan Albright (5), Eric Fenton (3) and Kameron Williams (2) are the other Eagle players who have scored this year.

Stephen Shaw has made 56 saves in goal this year for the Eagles.

Eastern Alamance will travel to Page tonight.
