Base: Late rally sends Blue Jays to Regional

St. John scored seven runs in the final two innings May 20 to down Kalida 8-3 and win the Division IV District title for a second straight year. The Blue Jays received a little help from OGSAA rules. Kalida's starting pitcher was forced to exit after five innings because of the rule limiting a hurler to ten innings in any three day span. St. John then did the damage against the Kalida relief corps. The big blow in the rally was a bases loaded two run double off the bat of Tyler Otto.
