Bucks Finish Regular Season on Winning Note

The Bucks baseball team scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to beat Everglades 7-6 Friday night in the regular season finale. The home field victory bumped up the team's record to 10-15 as the Bucks prepare for the district tournament. Sophomore Drew Danner picked up his first win of the season in relief. Co-captain Tyler Hubbard was 2-4 at the plate, and catcher Matt Lopes also had 2 hits and scored twice.The Bucks open the district tournament Monday againsy Piper H.S. Game time is 7 pm at DBHS. |
