Lady Bucks Lose Heartbreaker in District Volleyball

The Lady Bucks were on the verge of pulling off a stunning upset Tuesday night in the District 10-6A volleyball tournament at Douglas High School. They were beating second-seeded Coral Springs two games to none in the best of three match. But the Colts gathered their composure to win the next three games, eliminating Deerfield Beach 3-2. The scores were 16-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-12. Springs Junior Lauren Lewkowicz had 27 kills, 15 digs and six service points. The Bucks lost to the Colts 3-0 during the regular season.

The Bucks finish the season at 14-9.
