Bucks Win 2nd State Title in 4 x 100

The foursome of Donte Dotson, Adrian Witty, Cassius McDowell and Denard Robinson captured the Class 4A state title in the 4 x 100 in a time of 40.64. It is the Bucks second consecutive championship in that event. The quartet turned in their blistering run during Saturday's finals in Winter Park. The winning mark was just .10 slower than the state record set earlier in the week by Monsignor Pace High School.
In the 100 meter finals, Denard finished 3rd in his attempt to defend his state title. The Univ. of Michigan bound senior scratched himself from the 200 meter finals to save his best effort for the 4 x 100. |
