GG: Warriors win season opening tourney

Danville staged a strong start to the season Tuesday, August 3^rd when the Warriors captured the team title at the nine team Eagle Invite at Oak Ridge Golf Course. Danville shot a total of 383 to outdistance the field by 20 strokes.

The Warriors’ Mikala Freeland garnered some individual glory. Her 89 was good for third place among individual golfers. Here is a look at the complete team standings.
