Mikayla Chambers was invited to participate at --- Cheer Hawaii USA --- this summer.  She was named a Top 10 overall cheerleader out of 122 girls from around the world so. She was also invited back next year. They recorded her doing her slap stomp cheers so they can teach the camp next year! 

This year's camp was held on June 28th - July 5th, 2012, on the beautiful island of Oahu, at the University of Hawaii Campus. The CheerHawaii Invitational provides an amazing blend of College prep cheer instruction with an incredible Hawaiian Experience. This "Invitational" cheer camp is the only one of its kind in Hawaii that specializes in all aspects of cheerleading.

CheerHawaii focuses on 4 main areas: Cheer motion technique, Dance, Stunting and Leadership skills. They have a unique way of combining workout sessions with the experience of some of Hawaii's best beaches and activities. Some of the activities she enjoyed as a member of the 2011 CheerHawaii team: Beach time on North Shore and Waikiki Beaches, Pearl Harbor Memorial, shopping at Famous Aloha Stadium Swap Meet, canoe paddling, hula dancing, Waikiki Trolley Ride, and Polynesian Cultural Center Hawaiian Luau and Show.
