Justin Richman: Head Varsity Volleyball Coach

            “We play a strong schedule, but that doesn’t mean we shy away from strong competition,” states head coach Justin Richman. “With our strong schedule, we’ve hit a couple of rough patches. However, we have made quick adjustments, and I think we are peaking at the right time.”

            So far this season, our Volleybroncs have a 15-12record. The team has become very strong this year, with newspaper articles raving of the increase in skills and an uproar from people, surprised by the talent being presented by the team that hasn’t been showcased in previous years. “We do have the talent and the ability to do big things. Our defense gives us multiple opportunities, but this year our offense has evolved into something notable,” says Justin. “I believe our only weakness is inconsistency from start to finish.”

            The rest of the season should be a strong one for the Lady Broncos. They have the opportunity to win out the rest of the season and make a good run in the sectional tournament. Their biggest goal is to actually win sectionals. With that win, they could make the statement in Delaware County that they have wanted to make for a long time.

            “This year has been exciting so far. We have learned hard lessons, and that will help us finish the season with big results if we continue to work hard and make adjustments.”
