Home » Newspaper NewsSan Antonio MemoriesMay 13, 2011 Harvard High SchoolThe Harvard High School Band and Choir embarked on a grand journey to the lovely city of San Antonio, Texas this past spring break. From surviving roller coasters of Six Flags Fiesta Texas to fighting the rapids of the Guadalupe River, the HHS music department surely had an excellent vacation, while also giving Texas a taste of our Horney talent. Both the band and choir participated in clinics at the University of San Antonio and polished up music pieces before performing for Brook's Army Medical Center and outside of the famed Alamo mission. "It was quite an experience that will never be forgotten from interesting statuses to ‘creepsters' on the river, had a blast", said senior Ingrid Rendon. The San Antonio spring break trip definitely was a way to end a high school career for many senior band students, and a way to bond with each other for all band and choir members.
