I found this record pretty interesting! This playoff record is from 1972-2011

App. Wins loss tie PCT. Last appearance

Richmond 34 77 28 0 .733 2011

Thomasville 30 74 23 0 .763 2011

Shelby 28 73 23 0 .760 2011

Cummings 29 65 24 0 .730 2011

Clinton 32 65 27 0 .707 2008

Murphy 27 54 21 0 .720 2011

Robbinsville 32 54 22 0 .711 2011

Reidsville 25 53 21 1 .713 2011

Independence 23 53 15 1 .775 2011

Shelby Crest 25 51 24 0 .680 2011

A.L. Brown 29 49 27 0 .645 2011

Wallace R Hill 28 48 28 0 .667 2011

Asheville 24 40 22 0 .645 2011

MT. AIRY 34 38 33 0 .535 2011

There are some teams that won more than Mt. Airy but I just posted teams that won at least 60% of the games in order to be on the list. I copy this from other post on 1A board (for Buzzcoach) and thought some 2A posters and readers like to see this. Reidsville and Shelby fans can talk about this for sure.....I am very impressed with some of those schools that put up gaudy numbers
