7th Grade Lady Cub Basketball Results

The 7th grade Lady Cubs brought home their 8th victory in a row by defeating county and conference opponent Clark Pleasant by a margin of 22 points.  With balanced statistics and solid free-throw shooting the Lady Cubs were able to take the lead from the tip and never look back.  Emma Jones led the scoring column with 13 to go with her 8 rebounds.  Sarah Sullivan had a nice stroke and finished with 10 points, and 3 assists.  Rilee King had 6 points and 5 rebounds.  Morgan Luna, Lexi Engelking, and Sydney Logsdon had 2 points each.  Maya Elliott had 1 point, 4 assists, and 2 steals before leaving the game at halftime due to injury.  Britney Klotzsche was awesome on the boards pulling down her season high of 11.  The Ladies take the court at Martinsville East on Saturday to try to keep their streak alive.  Good luck ladies!

The 7th grade Lady Cubs' “B” team improved their record to 3-1 last night beating Clark Pleasant 41-16. After a slow first quarter, the lady cubs turned the game into the fast-paced game they prefer and took over. Leading the Lady Cubs was Emma Treibic with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 steals. Also contributing to the great win were Abby Booe with 9 points and 7 steals; Lauren Staples with 8 points and 3 rebounds; Rilee King had 6 points and 5 rebounds; Jamie Adams with 4 points and leading the boards with 11 rebounds; Kasey Neese with 2 points and 6 rebounds; and Rachel Ferguson with 3 rebounds. Lexi Engleking and Morgan Luna stepped in to help the team in the fourth quarter. Great win, ladies! Let's get ready to beat Paul Hadley next week!
