8th Grade Girls' Basketball Teams Win at Home

The 8th grade girls basketball teams both played a tough battle tonight against Center Grove Central. In the first game, the Lady Cubs were victorious with a score of 42-32. Franklin was lead with balanced scoring from Makenna Bertsch and Rylie Mayo both with 11 points and Allison Barnard with 12 points. Franklin improved their record to 5-0.

In the second game of the night, Franklin's "B" team was able to hold off Center Grove with a score of 22 to 16. Franklin was lead by Katie Crump with 13 points. It was a solid team effort and good first game of the season win for the Lady Cubs.

Both teams are back in action on Wednesday night at Decatur Central.
