7th Grade Girls Basketball Jr. Varsity Results

The girl's 7th grade B team played a tough game losing to Center Grove Central 20-11. The Lady Cubs struggled in the first quarter with some first game nerves but came out more aggressive and ready to play in the second quarter. Leading the Lady Cubs in points was Averie Shelley with 5 points; she also lead the boards with 7 rebounds. Also contributing for the Lady Cubs were Abby Booe with 2 points, Emma Triebec with 2 points, and Kasey Neese with 2 points. Rachel Ferguson had 1 steal and Jamey Adams had 2 steals and 6 rebounds. Lauren Staples and Haley Noe came off the bench and played solid defense in the second half. The Lady Cubs are in action again next Wednesday against Decatur Central at home.
