Boys and Girls Cross Country Results

The Girls Cross Country Team battled the heat and humidity short handed in their 3-way meet at Greenwood last night coming in third.  Payton Walters and Emma Treibic packed together in 15th and 16th with Morgan Hoy crossing in 21st.  Alexandra Boardman and Erica Lykins packed together in 32nd and 33rd to round out scoring.  Caroline Riessen and Abby Burton completed the top 7 with their 38th and 42nd place finishes.

The Boys Cross Country Team also come in third in their 3-way meet despite the 1-3 finishes of Josh Campbell and Chandler McGaha.  Owen Atkison - 13th, Andrew Bixler - 16th, and Brock Lock - 20th finished scoring for the Cub harriers.  Lucas Marr - 28th and Wyatt McCullough - 29th completed the top 7.  Both teams run Thursday at Shelbyville.

Results from August 30th meet:

The Girls Cross Country team ran shorthanded against a very good Columbus North side team last evening.  Emma Treibic led the way in 10th, followed by Payton Walters 13th, and Morgan Hoy 15th.  Alexandra Boardman - 22nd Erica Lykins - 23rd finished out scoring with Abby Burton - 24th and Caroline Riessen - 26th rounding out the top 7.
 
The Boys Cross Country team also had a tough night against Columbus North side.  Josh Campbell - 4th and Chandler McGaha - 5th had strong runs as did the scoring runners of Andrew Bixler - 19th, Brock Lock - 21st and Dakota Bunday - 24th.  Evan Havener - 30th and Wyatt McCullogh - 31 rounded out the top 7.  Both teams run Tuesday at Craig Park against Greenwood and Perry Meridian.
