The cubs went down early 0-1, but fought back to tie the game at half 1-1. The second half went back and forth for about 25 minutes with neither team scoring. Finally, Doug Abney put a goal in with his left, to take the lead 2-1 with about 3 minutes to go. Shelbyville came back strong and tied the game up at 2, with 2 minutes left in the game. The game ended as a 2-2 tie. Standout performers were: Brody Wade, who shut down shelbyvilles top player. Doug Abney, who now has 5 goals in two games. Danny Mendoza, Robert Velasquez, and Sam Vanderveen, who all played extremely well all over the field.
