Varsity Girls Drop MEC Game to Union

The Cowan Girls Basketball team was defeated by Union on Saturday afternoon 62-29.  Kendal Wright and Breann Ault led the Blackhawks offensively with 7 points each.  Anna Bowman led the team in rebounds with 7.  Cowan is now 1-9 on the season.  They have a couple weeks off before their next contest with is on January 7th vs Wapahani in the County Tournament.  The County Tournament will be held at Yorktown High School and the game vs the Raiders will begin at 7:30 PM.
