What would be your definition or description of a mature student-athlete?
Would your teachers and coaches consider you to be mature or immature?
Immaturity is demonstrated by selfish actions, pouting, picking on others and thinking “ME”, not “WE.”
A mature individual cares about others, can handle success as well as disappointment, and shows respect to others.
Maturity can be a choice rather than a milestone. Work on making that choice so that others see you as a mature student-athlete.
