Boys Basketball Picks Up Conference Win Over Blue River

The Cowan Varsity Boys Basketball team traveled to Blue River High School on Friday evening and picked up their first win of the season 67-59. Luke Miller led all scorers with 22 points. Miller also led the team in rebounds with 8. Calvin Furniss added 18 points and Stewart Kerr added 16. The Blackhawks improved their overall record to 1-4 and start conference play 1-0. The team will be in action this Friday night as they travel to Tri High School. The JV game is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM.
