Monroe Central Beats Cowan in Girls Basketball

The Cowan Varsity Girls Basketball team traveled to Monroe Central Monday evening and was defeated 59-22.  Makayla Keating led the team in scoring with 11 points.  Kendal Wright was the leading rebounder for the Blackhawks with 6.  Cowan is now 0-2 on the season and will be back in action this Saturday at home vs Delta.  The varsity game will begin at 11 AM.
