Volleyball Team Wins on Senior Night

The Class 1A No. 5 Cowan Volleyball team defeated MEC foe Union Monday evening 25-12, 25-17, 25-12.  Kristina Flowers and Kyanne Stewart led the Blackhawks with 10 kills each.  Val Flick led the defense with 13 digs.  Senior, Madisen Mangus, Jessica Mace, Kyanne Stewart, Audrey Jones and Mallory Bruner were all recognized for their four years of hard work before the match.  Cowan finishes the regular season with a record of 21-10 and 6-2 in conference play.  The team will begin Sectional play this Saturday at Cowan vs Southern Wells at 1 PM.
