Volleyball Team Takes Down Randolph Southern in Three

Cowan High SchoolThe Varsity and JV Volleyball teams were victorious on Tuesday evening as both teams defeated Randolph Southern in sweeps. The varsity team won 25-15, 25-13, 25-13 and improved their season record to 10-2. Mallory Bruner led the team in kills with 8. Val Flick led the team in digs with 12 and Kristina Flowers was the leader in blocks with 3. Both teams will be in action again this Thursday as Burris comes to Cowan for a big conference match-up. The JV match will begin at 6:00 PM. If you can't make it out to Cowan on Thursday, the varsity match will be broadcasted live here on the Cowan athletic website beginning at 7:00 PM.
