Volleyball Team Falls to New Castle

No. 2 in class 4A New Castle defeated No. 6 in class 1A Cowan last night 25-16, 25-14, 25-10. Valorie Flick led the Blackhawks with 12 digs on the night. The JV team was also defeated by the Trojans.  The varsity and jv teams are both now 3-1 on the season.  The varsity team will be in action this Saturday at the Blackhawk Invitational.  The first match begins at 9:30 AM.
