Softball Picks Up 20th Victory of the Season

The Cowan Softball team picked up their 20th win of the season last night by defeating South Adams 5-3. The Lady Blackhawks pounded out 13 hits on the evening. Sara Masters had a home run among her three hits for the Blackhawks, and Mallory Bruner, Allie McCreery and Makayla Keating all had two hits. Winning pitcher Shelby Wilcoxon improved to 11-2.  The Softball team now has a record of 20-3 on the season.  They will be in action again tonight as they travel to Wes-Del to finish a suspended game from earlier in the year.
